What is Mind Body Spirit Release®

Mind Body Spirit Release® (MBSR) is designed to uncover and clear subconscious imprints that may be keeping us stuck in unwanted patterns or stress responses. These imprints can contribute to emotional or physical tension within the body, often without our conscious awareness.
Although many people associate deep emotional imprints with major life traumas — such as abuse, accidents, or conflict — even smaller life events can leave lasting impressions on our subconscious. These subtle experiences can quietly influence how we think, feel, and react, sometimes making it difficult to understand why we respond the way we do.
Through MBSR sessions, we identify and “deactivate” these hidden stress triggers, allowing for greater clarity, calm, and emotional freedom. This process helps bring awareness and language to what’s been shaping our inner world, empowering us to respond — rather than react — to life’s challenges.
Ultimately, Mind Body Spirit Release® supports self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of harmony within the mind, body, and spirit.

The Ideomotor Response

To help uncover what’s happening beneath the surface of the conscious mind, I use a gentle technique known as the Ideomotor Response — a method often utilized by hypnotherapists, psychologists, and psychotherapists. This approach measures subtle muscle (motor) movements that occur in response to an idea (ideo) or statement, providing insight into what the subconscious mind is communicating.
In our sessions, I can either use a pendulum to detect these minute muscle responses in the hand or use my own muscle testing. This allows me to gather information about subconscious blocks or patterns that may be preventing you from reaching your goals. Once these blocks are identified, I use a cold laser to gently stimulate specific acupuncture points, meridians, and reflex areas. This process helps the body release its stress response to those blocks, creating space to integrate new, supportive beliefs aligned with your intentions.
The result is a deeper sense of clarity, calm, and empowerment — helping your mind and body work together in harmony toward healing and growth.
Note: Sessions can be done in person or remotely with me as proxy for the client.

What to Expect During an MBSR Session

At BlueSkai Healing, MBSR sessions are customized to your needs and intentions.
Here’s what typically happens:

Set the Intention

Begin by working with the client to establish a clear intention and test their energetic resonance with that intention using the Hawkins Map of Consciousness Scale.

Identify Blocks & Imbalances

Determine all primary and secondary blocks or imbalances that need to be cleared in order for the client’s energy to better align with their intention.

Release Negative Imprints

Use an imprinted cold laser to stimulate specific acupuncture points. This is done directly on the client during in-person sessions, or via proxy for remote sessions, to release negative energetic imprints.

Restore & Integrate

Identify restorative emotions that test well following the clearing and provide guidance on recommended next steps to support ongoing balance and integration.

Retest & Recalibrate

After the client has acclimated to the clearing, retest their resonance with the original intention to confirm energetic alignment and progress.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, with extended or combined sessions available.

What to Expect with MBSR®

Every MBSR® session is deeply personal, as each individual’s experience and healing process are unique. Many clients describe feeling an immediate sense of lightness — as though a weight has been lifted — along with deep relaxation and clarity.
For some, the body may go through a brief detoxification phase as it releases long-held physical and emotional stress. This is a natural and healthy part of the clearing process and typically passes quickly, leaving you feeling more balanced and grounded.
It’s important to remember that MBSR® is a collaborative process. The greatest results come when you are open, engaged, and willing to release old patterns that no longer serve you. MBSR® is gentle, powerful, and transformative — a simple yet profound way to help you move beyond what’s been holding you back and step into a greater sense of well-being.
